About the service

Our in-house fire damper department carries out fire damper drop testing and remedial works for councils, facilities management companies, and public and private estates across Scotland and as far as the south coast of England. Standard BS9999:2017 requires all fire dampers to be tested and maintained annually.

We carry out annual fire damper drop testing as required by British Standard BS9999:2017, keeping buildings compliant and occupants safe from fire.

Where remedial action is required, our operatives install duct access doors, support products, and replacement parts to restore full fire damper function.

Training

We also remove obstructions, replace damaged fusible links, and clean ductwork and dampers, ensuring every fire safety system works exactly as intended.
