What is clean air validation and why is it needed?
It is the process of proving that HVAC systems, filtration, airflow, and environmental controls operate as intended and maintain required cleanliness, temperature, humidity, and pressure levels.
What tests are included in clean air validation?
Common tests include: Airborne particle counts (non-viable)  Airflow pattern and velocity  HEPA filter integrity and leak testing Pressure differentials Temperature and humidity  Room recovery rates
How often should validation be repeated ?
Initial validation is followed by periodic requalification (six monthly or Annual)
What is the difference between qualification and validation?
Qualification proves the system is designed, built, and installed correctly, validation proves it performs consistently over time under real operating conditions.
